Location: PA -This is what my custody order says for FaceTime calls:
TELEPHONE/FACETIME CONTACT WITH THE CHILDREN: The noncustodial party at any given time shall have reasonable ongoing telephone/Facetime communication with the minor children, and the minor children shall not be precluded from telephoning the noncustodial party at reasonable times. Should the minor children be unavailable to receive a telephone call from a party, the custodial party shall be responsible for having the minor children return the telephone call.
It was put into place in April of this year. He didn’t start calling until June 1, and he’s been calling every single night since then and it’s becoming too much. Kids are young, 1 and 3 and barely look at him because they haven’t seen him in almost a year in person. My son’s autistic and it causes some distress also.
I allowed daily calls because I thought that’s what the order meant but now that I re read it I don’t think it has to be ? Would I’d be ok if I tell him once a week only without getting in trouble with the court ?
