Like, you’re hoping for tips or a bit of encouragement, but every other post is just “am I doomed?” or “is it over for me?” It’s kind of exhausting, especially when you’re trying to stay positive or move forward.

“Am I cooked?” lol
I dont come here for motivation or advice – not the place to ask tbh.
But I do come to read some funny posts or stories and yes – the doomposting or absolutely asinine questions some people ask on here are starting to become the norm.
I leave or click “don’t recommend” anything that brings me down.
I agree, there is a lot of negative content, and it was really starting to affect me too, so I’ve tried to temper it with positive subs like, r/Damnthatsinteresting, r/AccidentalRenaissance, r/OneOrangeBraincell, or r/murdermittens, and even r/peopleofwalmart – if those don’t interest you, there are literally thousands of subs for every interest and your page will start to reflect more positive content the more you dig around 🙂
I’ve been around here a long time. Since before the great digg migration. I’ve watched Reddit go from a west coast techno-libertarian playground to the home of the world’s bitter misanthropes. It’s pretty sad.
I curate my subreddits.
