yes, slowly dropped candy for ages, like maybe 15 years + before some various bargain chocolate stuff pulled me back in.
But, I am all about potato crisps/chips. Then also noticed I had started eating more and more salty stuff with dinners, even eating some flake salt when out of any snacks in the house.
Turns out part of it was loss of smell so lots of other brothy dinner stuff was smelling and thus tasting less, but salt, sweet and sour is just fine. Which if great for junk and most unhealthy stuff.
I’ve been low on D and B12 in the last few years, B12 I basically googled the symptoms and proved it by blood tests to a skeptical doctor. Now I realize I’ve eaten salt, but possibly not iodine supplemented salts for a long time. Even the one I thought was iodine containing turned out to be the similar model standing next to them in the store.
It also matches that I’m cutting back on milk products because I’m slowly less tolerant to milk (I thought that was impossible and a genetic either or). I can also just grow tired of certain foods for a long while and randomly it seems to have been naturally iodine containing.
Anyway, I can come home form work and should have dinner but I know I’d easily inhale half to a full pack of tortillas or chips of the right brand. Salt is a taste enhancer just like MSGs etc and of course the brands know that and design the tastes to be hyperpalable.

I crave both lol. I’m craving salty food rn
Of course. Usually popcorn or pretzels
Yep, you can try to pry my salted pumpkin seeds out of my dead hands
I’ll take a bag of chips or some fries over cake any day
Of course. Our bodies love salt and it’s good for us in moderation.
I crave both

Check ur BP no worries but could be sign of lower BP to crave salt

Got fatigue? Weakness? Dizziness? Changes to your skin pigmentation? When I hear salt cravings I think Addison’s disease.
Most likely not.
