I swear, no matter the place I order from, or if I buy an oven-bake one, they always come out with the crust under done.
It’s not sturdy or crunchy, it just feels extremely limp and chewy. I swear like just over a year ago it was better, but now they’re all…… soggy? for lack of a better word.

Get a Costco pizza. It’s huge for 9.99 and it’s actually really consistently good
Have you ever considered it’s your oven that is the problem, not the pizzas? If your oven is no longer at the proper temperatures, then that would explain why your pizzas aren’t getting properly cooked.
Check “well done” in the cook instructions. If the place reads it they’ll cook it longer but that’s 50/50
I enjoy the hell out of the Blaze Pizza franchise.
Where ?
Pizza from everywhere is gross now. Start making your own. Make a batch of dough and pizza sauce at the beginning of the month and freeze it. Get ya some fresh veggies and a fresh grated mozzarella. Dice up some chicken breasts with some red hot buffalo and call it a fuckin win. So good. Yeah it’s more work and sometimes I don’t feel like making it, but it’s so worth it. And holy shit it’s so much better tasting, more filling, better for you and cheaper.
Make your own man. Aldi crust and add yor toppings.
As a trucker, flying J has the BEST pizza. Fight me
The betty Crocker’s pizza cooker is about thirty bucks and whether you make it from scratch or put a Tony’s two dollar in there its fire. I thought only rich people could have good pizza at home til I got one.
That’s why I avoid chain pizzerias. We have one next city over (like a fifteen minute drive) that’s terrific. Classic pizza by the slice restaurant. Chewy crust that actually has flavor, tangy sauce, hand shredded mozzarella (not bagged preshredded covered in cellulose powder). Guy that runs it is from Sicily. Used to run his pizzeria in this town, but his landlord kept fucking him around on doing repairs. Next town over isn’t so bad. Get in the car, order the pizza, it’s hot out of the oven right when we get there, still hot when we get home.
I lowkey wonder if it’s a supply chain thing
I worked at Pizza Hut in the 1990’s and all the dough was made and proofed at the store every morning. Everything was fresh. They changed to frozen premade dough by late 1990’s and 2000. They also reduced the amount of cheese and toppings on the pie.
YES !!! My gf and I LOVE pizza. We’ve ordered from many pizza places since we moved and they’re all …. bleh. Even the one from my teen years that I loved. Just subpar.
Agreed and pizza is so easy to make at home. You can grate your own mozzarella so it doesn’t have that weird film on it when they buy the pre-grated cheese.
Nope, but I’m in NY. The mom and pop corner pizzerias are always good.
Home Run Inn frozen pizza remains the only frozen pizza that is actually good. Honestly better than delivery in my area (I do not live in a major city)
I get too many big fat bread rings with a little bit af pizza in the middle.
yesss omg it’s not just u!!! like why do all pizzas taste like they gave up halfway thru cookin 😭 crust be floppier than my motivation on a monday… what happened to crispiness being a standard not a luxury??
There’s less love in the world, despite both the Left and the Right SAYING that they fight for LOVE (through Jesus, LBGQT, whatever). Both of these groups have grained the will to live and that means substandard performance at work.
Because …deep down we all know we’re slaves and we seek freedom. It’s not just pizzas.
I dunno, Domino’s “handmade” pan pizza is pretty damn good.
