DAE feel so bored/jaded with where they live?

r/

I’ve lived in Tennessee all my life, and we have moved once—but it was in a literal ten mile radius of where we lived before! The house was a wreck and we had to get out. I’m grateful for what I have but I’m so effing bored!!!! We can’t afford to go on any vacations (like NONE), I have the same monotonous school day with the same people I want to get away from, I sit in the same room at home (living room) and have the same hobbies (lots of them, not just my phone). I have this deep set boredom that is only sedated when I LEAVEEEE!!!!! I can’t clean or scroll or watch TV forever, or anything! There is nothing special where I live and there has been a massive influx of people moving in to my already overpopulated small town.

I need to get out but I can’t!!!!! I’ll be getting a license and a job soon and can’t wait for a change of pace even if I am busy 🙏🙏🙏

yes omg you’re sooo not alone 🥲 small town boredom hits hard. same people, same routine, no escape, it’s draining. but once you get that license + job, even little changes will feel like a breath of fresh air. hang in there, it’s coming ❤️

The centre of London, England, and yes.

Every church and community centre, youth club, and after school facility moonlights as a Food bank. It serves as a stark reminder of the ever expanding tendrils of corruption infesting the home i love, by those who only claim to love it.
