I’m 53. I swear when I was in my 20s and 30s, nobody talked about feeling old. But I work with people in their late 20s now, and they all think they’re getting old. It’s totally unfamiliar to me, whereas most of the other stuff they talk about sounds reminiscent of when I was their age.
Physically or mentally? At 32 I feel the same age mentally as I did in my mid-20’s, and I think that’s sort of how it works for the rest of your life, at least until the age-related cognitive decline begins. But physically I already feel older to be honest.
i still live in a college town so i didn’t feel old at 23 since i was often mistaken for a college student. im 26 and it still happens, but starting to feel more “my age”. i guess to me that means feeling more comfortable in who i am which has been kinda nice. im also married now so idk if that has anything to do with it. the idea of getting older and life moving fast gets scary, but i dont feel like ancient like some of these comments sound

Yes. I felt old when I was 23. I’m a lot older now but I’ve always felt old.
I’m 8 but I feel 80 😔
It’s crazy when those numbers reverse too
I’m 40 and feel no different than I did at 26.. except maybe more tired, but that’s it.
When I was 24 I felt hella old then the pandemic happened and now I’m 29 going on 30 next month. But I felt old even back then

I never felt young. I pretty much always felt like life was already over for me.

I’m 41 and wondering when I’m ever going to grow up.
No fuck off- as an older than 23 person, you’re not old. Buy a skateboard.
I’m the opposite, I’m 38 and still feel young
