I was riding with some friends earlier and I didn’t fit in one of the last seats (3 seat row, 3 real sized seats and not a high chair middle seat) and I had to ask one of my guys to close those legs. He did it but I feel bad that I ever needed to say that to one of my fellow guys. Usually no one cares and knees or thighs always touch but I didn’t feel like I needed to bring up him needing to close his legs to fit inside. We’re guys, we all understand our needs to take up the room (joke but I mean within our group, we don’t mind and we have little leg wars of who can take all).
maybe this can apply to public transport?
if not this specifically, does anyone have any other stories similar in any way, with all of you having a silent mutual understanding of each other and suddenly needing to break that understanding so you can go on?
