Idk how to explain it but whenever I laugh I laugh genuinely, however, I don’t make any audible noise but my face is definitely happy.
I literally can’t force a noise when I’m laughing. I don’t know if anyone else is like this.
Air comes out when I laugh genuinely, but no sound. Unless I am wheezing.
I wonder if anyone else does this too?

I tend to smile rather than audibly laugh. At times when I’m being stared at because of it I usually explain “this is the extent of my laugh, my smile. Sorry”
When I laugh in my mind🥲
If I think something is slightly funny but not deserving of a full laugh, I kind of just exhale through my nose once. Idk why it’s a thing but I notice a lot of other people do it as well.
Apparently, me & my dad do the same thing. I call it “laughing so hard that I vibrate.” People do find it weird, but it is the purest form of me laughing (I usually end up doing this around my husband when I find something significantly funnier than he did [like when I crack a joke about him]).
My ex did this. It’s really rather hilarious to observe. Mouse curved into an open smile, head bobbing up and down, no sound at all.
