literally never in my life. i like my shoes tied tight so it would take more time to try and jam my foot in there and rip it off every time. it doesn’t take long to tie shoes at all i don’t understand how people don’t
I keep a simple “shoehorn” in my back pocket that makes it easy to slip them on without breaking the heel..
It is just a piece of a plastic milk carton that I’ve cut to a convenient size.
It does a surprisingly good job.
( I got here because I broke bones and tore ligaments in one foot some years ago. The foot never fully recovered, so I wear shoes with good, supportive insoles in the house. I slip them off when I sit down, then put them back on when I get up, many times a day.)
My parents never bothered to teach me how to tie anything. So I usually knot the hell out of it and call it a day when I’m finally able to slip my feet into my shoes.

Been doing it for most of my life
yep, i got boots with little loops at the top so it makes it easy just to pop on and off
I only retie when necessary. Nobody’s got time for all of that.
For a lot of my sneakers, I changed the laces with silicone ones. I basically made them slip-on.
I don’t do it with my running shoes because I tie those pretty tight and it ruins the shoe just slipping them off tied
Yes indeed, I’m too sexy to tie my shoes.
Finally got those Slip Ins
Everyone does that
Yep, I only tie or retie when absolutely necessary. I’m hoping to get some elastic laces to reduce rarely to basically never touch the laces.
Yup, slide on skate shoes, speed lace work boots.
That’s me. 🙋♂️
Always. Aint got time to keep tying and untying my laces
doing this wears out the inner heel of your shoe faster. fyi
yes it’s so much quicker
Fascinating that the comments universally do that.
I never ever slip my shoes on and off. Untie and retie every single time!
And I wear Vans every day, not fancy shoes.
100% unless it’s shoes that go over the ankle like boots or high tops. i probably retie my sneakers twice a year at most, double knot ofc
I never TIE my laces. I just put them inside the shoe and slip my foot in.
Nah op, you’re the only one. You special
Yup. Except running shoes, I tie those
Cheap shoes = Yes
Expensive shoes = No
Specialty shoes (cleats/running/hiking) = No
It damages shoes to slip on and off so don’t do it to expensive shoes.
Speciality shoes need perfect tightness so need adjusting everytime.
I wear leather boots so it’s kinda impossible for me lol

Can’t stand a loose shoe. I tie ’em up tight every time I put them on, and sometimes retie throughout the day
No it breaks down my shoes to fast.
You have shoes with laces?
For shoes that I’m able to, yes. Tying shoes is just a pain in the ass
Kiziks are the dream
I wear slip on steel toes. Got tired of the laces coming undone.
I never retie my regular shoes.

I only redo my laces if they get too loose. Sometimes the cats play with my laces & thats okay lol
I buy shoes with fake laces because I only ever slip them on lmao
My entire life. It’s why I switched to sketcher slip ons a few years ago. They got laces, but are designed just to slip on and offf. Never going back.
I mean, for sneakers, sure. But most of the time I wear boots that it just isn’t possible to simply slip into it out of.
I always have and then eventually just stopped buying shoes with laces.
I always do it but I feel like I damaged the shoe.
I do this with my vans but not my running shoes!
Yeah, but I usually prefer slip on shoes
Is there another way?
I don’t even buy shoes with real laces anymore I don’t plan on running anywhere so loafers are the way to go
I started doing this a few years ago, not bad
I started wearing Skechers slip-on sneakers a while ago, and they don’t have any laces at all… they’re great
I can’t remember the last time I tied my shoes
Did that with my last pair of running shoes and started ripping the back part from the front of the shoe ever so slowly. This time I’ll be tying them
My parents never bothered to teach me how to tie anything. So I usually knot the hell out of it and call it a day when I’m finally able to slip my feet into my shoes.
I honestly try to buy kid sneakers with Velcro whenever I can. Why oh why can’t they start making adult shoes with Velcro?
I used to but I’m getting older
I buy elastic shoestrings.
