Lately I have seen many Americans comparing Argentina and USA…
Saying that the actions that Milei did brought economic development and were good for Argentina.
Do you all have any good data source that shows that?

There is no such data
Are these Americans by any chance Trumpists/ Elon Muskists?
It does seem Milei brought inflation down, but comparing the economic situation of Argentina to the economic situation of America is extremely tricky. I don’t even know if comparing the two would make sense in the first place.
Is a “trust me bro” good enough data for you?

Official statistics service. FWIW it’s not run by people from the same party as the government.
what you are asking is incredibly polarizing, any data will be interpreted in a way that matches your political alignment and how close you are to Milei’s party. Take for example borrowing money from IMF, depending who you ask it is might be a good thing because that money can be seen as a sign that if they are willing to borrow, then it is somewhat safe. While the other side will tell you that whenever we borrowed money from IMF it led to IMF dictating how the economy should be run.
The only place to read official stats on the economy, is INDEC the national institute for statistics, and it has a history of governments touching the stats to make them look favorable to them, destroying credibility, even if they removed people that was modifyng the indexes, the taint will be there for a while.
In my view, Milei’s actions are the same as we had in the 90s (the neoliberal reign) and we know how that ended. Yes there was stability and people was able to go on vacations around the world, but the darker side of the fest was that it costed national industry, unemployement and a crippling debt that ended up with a social and economic crisis in december 2001 (you can read about it in wikipedia if you want)
And yes, many actions made by DOGE were applied here, like waves of public servants being fired, de regularizing as much as possible (damn the consequences), forget infrastructure investment, etc… all in the name of a self regulating market, that never fails to screw the consumer….
I agree, Argentina is fucked like USA and we have the same prices. Minimum wage is slightly different tho.
The USA was the fastest growing economy in the G20 the market was up almost 30% only in 2024 comparing that to Argentina is just plain stupid the maga and doge fans are just delusional now that they crash the entire global market and probably made irreversible damages to us institutions
jajaja
it’s just the same old story
it’s going to blow in the air any day
Milei’s Miracle is going so well that his number one Argentine oligarch and fanboy, Marcos Galperin, chose to make an investment 78 times larger in godless, communist Brazil than he did here.
Here’s Lula celebrating with a visit today:

Argentina and the US should not be compared, their economies are completely different, the political contexts are vastly different and the history of each country is different too.
Milei and Trump are also opposites of each other in economic policy, Milei is pro free market (like Democrats) and Trump is protectionist (like peronistas in Arg)
Milei took an economy close to the brink of collapse and a hyperinflation explosion, and he stabilized it. He’s much, much better than the kirchneristas before him, in the handling of the economy
Trump took a healthy, growing economy with inflation problems (that were being addressed by the time he was inaugurated) and a historically high debt, and completely crashed American and international markets, setting the world on fire and causing a recession in the US.
Don’t repeat the narrative, look at reality unfold before your eyes.
