hey so i live in a country where water supply is weak at daytime, there’s a dead house gecko floating in the bathing water when i checked. i think it drowned around maybe 2 hours ago. is the water still safe to use or do i need to change it? can i just clean the water with baking soda or something? it’s really hard to replenish the water at the moment (around 2pm rn) and i need to shower for work in a couple of hours. fast replies are appreciated, thanks!

Just don’t drink it and maybe use a jug of clean water to rinse off if that would make you feel better.
What country are you in? This would be whatever in some places, but in others, this would be too odd.
