I was reading through old posts in here so I know variations of this question are asked a lot. I want to see how people are handling it now.
Over the last few months, I think we can easily say this Trump term is far worse than the last. If you’re an immigrant, or know immigrants, you’re fearful. If you live on a fixed income tied to the stock market you’re probably furious. The list goes on and on.
How are liberals handling conversions with the conservatives in their lives today?
To make it more personal, I have in-laws that are MAGA and I have in-laws that don’t vote. Emotionally, both options sound like seeing the rise of the Third Reich and either actively supporting or silently condoning it.

I haven’t talked politics with my Dad since Bush 43 when we got into a major fight that started over Bush’s war record versus Kerry’s record. Now, looking back, it was so so so stupid.
I love my Dad, the man just turned 76, I’m not going to waist these precious few years he has left arguing about what 47 did or didn’t do.
He is a Reagan republican, which means he definitely voted “party over everything,” and I just don’t need to discuss any of this with him.
