A quote from the interview:
“He’s often been referred to as ‘crossbow killer’ and ‘crossbow maniac’ – but that takes away from the very real issue we know to be true. He was just a person, just a man… who went to the gym, had a family, had a relationship, watched TV.
Calling perpetrators of violence (of all kinds, not only against women) “not real men”, “monsters”, “little boys” etc might be insulting to them, but it does not help us in the fight against violence.
If we call them these epithets we’re dehumanising them, and along with that pushing the guilt away from all the “ordinary men”, when in fact most of the murderers, rapists, wife beaters were at one point considered members of that group.

If he raped and murdered other humans i don’t really care about his feelings. Full stop. Perpetrators rarely face actual consequences, they can be shunned then.
It’s not on the victims to be nice and make sure they don’t turn away “good men”. If they were good men, then it wouldn’t turn em away
