So about 6-9 months ago, I got a wisdom tooth removed. They did an Xray on me that apparently wasn’t covered by my insurance even though I made sure they were in my network before I went. They handed me a bill for 88 dollars(after insurance supposedly covered everything) and said that is all I would owe. Now they’re saying I owe an extra 175 for the xray that insurance won’t cover and are now threatening to take me to court for not just the cost of the xray, but for court and attorney fees too for suing me. What can I do about this?

First thing is to review the bill and what your insurance paid. If the debt is valid and your insurance won’t pay you owe the money.
If so:
You can pay the bill BEFORE they accumulate more fees to charge. If it actually ends up in court you can be hit with more fees and costs.
