I sell clothes on depop from bulk suppliers in Philippines I usually get rare vintage Nike stuff in all the time. I recently sold 9 rare vintage Nike tn hats for 1,500 in total to one buyer in specific. I shipped and everything went well until a week and half later the guy requested a refund through depop due to claims they were dirty and fake, Me having no proof of authenticity as its second hand with no receipt I decided to accept the refund and get them back and sell them to another buyer who was happy with the item. Depop rules claim the buyer has to provided proof of shipping within 7 days other the case gets closed and cannot be re opened, after 7 days the buyer never sent them and claims he won’t without getting the money first, he now claims his mum is going to the police to file a report because I won’t blindly refund him without proof of him shipping first. Can I get in any legal trouble for this? I have tried to arrange meet up’s doing the refund through depops system again and him shipping first, he refuses to budge in anyway I have proof of all this.
