So, sorry if this is not a place to ask. I play an online game and have a good friend for one year. We talk a lot. I know she is not catphishing. We playfully tease each other a lot. I probably flirt with her a lot and she calls me cheesy.
Anyway, had a message exchange yesterday, and I can’t help but think she got jealous? It was something that I noticed and found it interesting.
Long story short, our chat lead along the lines of her saying:
Her: Isn’t your best version of yourself being cheesy? lol
Me: I only am with one person in particular… and something tells me you enjoy it. 😛
Her:

Are you with someone? What do you mean by that?
Me: No no no. I meant that you are the only one I’m cheesy i with. There is nobody else. I just like making you smile. 😛 Don’t worry, it’s just you. 😛

Lol. I’m not jealous…
But I appreciate your love!!!
If you feel good… that’s fine by me.
(It seemed what led up to the playful tone, her asking if there is someone else came came subtly. If you need more details I can fill in)

That strikes me as not jealous, but interested. If you two are testing the waters romantically it’d be a pretty big shock if you turned out to be in a presumably monogamous relationship, anyone would want to double check. If that’s exactly how she phrased it I like your odds.
Respectfully…it seems you may be more into her than she’s into you. You said you flirt with her a lot so it seems like you flirt 80% and she responses with that you’re cheesy.
She may be into you more but imo “if you feel good that’s fine by me” is often code for a gentle way of saying things are more one-sided…on your end.
You know that girls in online games get obscene amounts of PMs/DMs right? Asked for or not.
I mean shoot your shot if you’re into her, but I wouldn’t spend a lot of time fantasizing about her. Better to make a move if you want to elevate it than live in limbo or on the sidelines with the other guys in her DMs.
She’s not jealous, she didn’t understand you were flirting with her and I actually think she’s not into you ‘like that’.
