Disability while driving

My wrist on my main hand has recently started to become weak from a degenerate bone issue thats been getting progressively worse. Today it was hurting very bad while I was driving and I saw there were some steering aids to assist with driving with a single hand. I wasn’t sure of the legality of driving with one hand, I think generally its frowned upon to not have both on the wheel but in a legal grey area? What should I do to stay on the safe side of the law if I get a tool for assistance, tyvm

It’s not illegal to drive with one hand. You need to maintain control of your vehicle. If you can with one hand, that’s fine.

I guess keep in mind that you’re putting yourself at risk because it’s easier to lose contol with one hand.
