Divorce Was Hard… But I Still Believe in Real Love ❤️

r/

I’m a man in my 50s, and I recently went through a painful divorce. I work offshore, and while I was away providing for us, my ex drifted into drugs and broke our vows. Losing my marriage also meant losing the future I thought we were building.

It would be easy to get bitter after something like that. But I’ve seen couples — even after decades together — who still look at each other with genuine admiration and attraction. That gives me hope.

I’m not in a rush, but I am intentional about finding someone who believes in loyalty, friendship, and romance all wrapped together. I believe love can last, even after life’s storms.

If you’ve experienced lasting love — or found it later in life — I’d love to hear your story. And if you’re also someone who values deep, real connection, feel free to say hi.
