At 15, I dated a 6 ft volleyball player, when I stood 5′ 6″. The only reason we broke up was that her dad, an Evangelical pastor, didn’t like her daughter with a “Papist”.
I’m pretty flexible on height, but it would be weird if she were a lot taller than me. I’m 5’10” and have dated a woman that’s 5’11” without issue. Not sure I’d go for 6’2″ though.

I suspect men in general aren’t as picky as women. I’ve often seen women state on dating profiles that they require their men to be taller than them.. in heels. That’s silly.
Yeah they do but as someone in the low end of 5” I can attest they don’t seem to have a universal preference for height. Obviously some men are part of the human trash percentages who will dismiss people based on stupid things but overall, I think height is a non-issue except for extreme outliers.
