    No. My mindset is a fairly practical and logical one which helps me make choices.

    Nope! For all accounts I should have been poor and living day to day with nothing based on the station I was born into. My sisters & I worked hard, became the first in our family to graduate University. We 3 are all financially stable and thriving in life.

    No. Although to a certain extent I think if you’re born in a first world country and you are taught to read and write, you aren’t starving, etc wealth is somewhat predetermined.

    This is an a somewhat old movie now but I think of the movie “Slumdog Millionaire”. It wasn’t a documentary of course but it portrayed the slums of India and the poverty in a fairly accurate way I’ve been told. The odds of financial security if you’re born in a place like that or you’re born a woman to a traditional Muslim family in the Middle East are probably damn near zero. I was born in the U.S. to non wealthy parents but that is still like winning the lotto when you think of some of the other possibilities.
