I work Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and honestly, two days off never feel like enough time to rest and recharge. Even after work, the hours fly by, and before I know it, it’s time to get ready for the next day and go to bed. By the time Monday rolls around, I always find myself wishing for an extra day off. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Yeah it’s pretty much “errand day” followed by “dread Monday day”
Yeah I find I feel so much better on Monday after a Friday holiday!
Absolutely. Two day weekends feel like one day to recover and one day to dread Monday.
I feel like two-day weekends aren’t enough at least 52 times per year.
One of the reasons I got into healthcare, I do 3 12 hour shifts a week and have 4 days off. The only problem is it isn’t a set schedule and has weekends.
Before my kids were in school though I worked ONLY weekends. Friday through Sunday and then Monday through Thursday off. Got to learn what all the weekday specials were at restaurants and other places.
But yes, I think its not enough but the catch is generally you have to find a way to make enough money in the time that you’re working to sustain yourself for more days off.
Yes. My last job, I worked 3 12s and it was awesome. I work the typical 40 hr week now and it sucks.
Imagine me with just Sunday off.
Absolutely! Many people feel like a two-day weekend just isn’t enough to fully rest and recharge. With only two days, it can feel like you’re just catching up on basic tasks or recovering from the workweek rather than truly having time to relax. It’s not uncommon to crave that extra day to unwind, especially when your work schedule is demanding.
