I keep a survival kit in the car. It’s just a first aid kit, flares, seat belt cutter and windows breaker etc. Over time its expanded to become more car centric because thats what I ended up needing more often than not. (Jumper cables, battery pack, misc tools)

Yes, it depends on the region and time of year

But I always have a tow strap, jumper cables, water, sockets and a long screw driver, food, knife, lighter, IFAK, change of clothes, tarp, and a shovel

If it’s cold, I’ll add a wool blanket and or a sleeping bag and a small pocket stove if I’m gonna be on the road for a prolonged period.

I basically live and work out of my car in rural areas so getting stuck or stranded is a very real possibility.

When I live in a forested area, I add a saw. Wind storms like to put trees down over the roads back home and I’ve been stuck on the wrong side of downed trees before.

my solo backpacking pack is my go bag. I carry more things in it then I actually need for backpacking but it also ensures that I can actually move with the load & weight if shit hits the fan.

It’s not pack with anything crazy. Its just supply to travel on feet for up to 3~ days without restocking. Compared to a typical backpack gear, it has more first aid/med kit supply, emergency foot ratios, batteries/solar charger, energy heat/warmth/light.

No. Probably first aid kit but not sure even about that. I put into the trunk some stuff for the car. Like shovel at winter. I mostly use the car to commute. When I travel I prepare but that’s like once in a year.

I have a go bag but not that I keep in the car. It’s for other situations.

I just keep the normal stuff in the car.

2400 pack with a set of thermals and socks, fly tarp with 25m of 12mm paracord and pegs, milar sheet, stainless cup with lid that stacks into a small pot with lid, fire starter rod and homemade lint and wax waterproof firefighters, 2 stainless steel 1.2L canteens for the side pockets and then an internal bladder. Also contains a personal medical kit setup mostly for minor first aid and cut/bleeding treatment with a mix of pharmacy drugs, small flashlight with spare batteries, box of matches and 2 bic lighters, salt and pepper and some hydrate satchels in the front pouch, there’s one of those 24hr hard tack biscuits jamed down the bottom that I dread the day I need to eat it.
Car has its own bigger first aid kit for trauma and snake bites. Roll of sandpaper toilet paper that hopefully wont disintegrate when I use it lol
