It’s possible less inhibited dancing might be better if you only had a couple and really already knew how to dance, but soon after you’re just srunk driving your ass around the room, confidently incorrect.
I can only speak personally, but I do dance better while slightly drunk, than sober. I have had multiple exes/partners say this independently. Sober I get in my head and stay stiff, too drunk and I’m floppy, but there’s definitely a sweet spot where I vibe.

It depends who else is drunk at the same time and whether you ask them.
you dont, only your perception is changed.
A light buzz will remove inhibitions and make you more flexible. Too much will make you uncoordinated and clumsy.
Trained dancers probably don’t need drinks, confident people won’t be inhibited
So a little may help while a lot will hurt.

If you’re drunk enough , does it even matter?
You only think you do because you don’t give a crap
Only if you wouldn’t dance otherwise
Yes.
Absolutely nothing could be worse than me dancing sober, so it must be true…
Judging by every wedding I’ve ever been to, it only makes you think you dance better.
