It’s been happening for a few years now where I’ll be inundated with posts that go entirely against my algorithm. It’ll be a several day burst, and I’ll block all of the posters or click “not interested” but it doesn’t seem to stop it.
The latest blitz was very specifically all Caroline Levitt related: Caroline slayed her 4th of July look, Caroline holding her baby at work what a great mom, Caroline gave $50 million dollars to Texas flood victims, Caroline family photos.
I’m trying to figure out if this is Meta led, or if occasionally public figure personally pays to be pushed out (like advertising) or does the party pay for that? Do you receive the liberal equivalent. (Not talking real news, or run of the mill ‘everything positive about anyone I disagree with is propaganda, more like compliment pieces or laughably easy provable lies)

It doesn’t happen in bursts. It’s a steady stream.
I get a steady flow of this stuff being re-posted by my
liberal friends and acquaintances, but all the paid ads and stuff tend to be apolitical on my feed. They know where I spend my money.
First… How is anything Caroline Leavitt “liberal propoganda” ?
Second..
I get nothing but Liberal stuff on Reddit and X despite belonging to multiple Conservative spaces (I also belong to at least one Liberal one)
I have to laugh when some Liberals think that X is some Conservative echo chamber…90% of my feed is Liberal stuff despite me being right leaning.
I’m primarily explained to liberal of left media on digital feeds or streams

As someone who’s adamantly against both political parties I regularly see shifts in my algorithm. It’ll usually be a week or 2 skewing heavy conservative. Then the same 1-2 weeks skewing heavy liberal.
It is interesting how every political sub has become an echo chamber, while simultaneously claiming that everyone else is an echo chamber and not them.
