I feel like some kind of crisis emergency in the US is inevitable at this point, and it’s become a matter of “when”, not “if”. I thought for sure it was going to be the tariff situation, but with that now also being unclear and up in the air, I feel like i’m on the edge of my seat again. It feels like someone is pulling back a rubber band and is going to let go at any moment and I just want to get it over with.

Yeah. Emergencies I can handle. Anticipation is crippling. I can’t just ignore the news either- as a trans person, ignoring politics is a privilege I don’t have. I AM the politics.
No
Nothing is inevitable. It’s 100% possible we just get pure uncomfortable chaos for 4 years until he’s out of office.
OMG yes
Something good? Sure. Something worse? No. I’m afraid for my friends and family. I feel like if something worse happens, it would happen to them.
I miss Joe Biden…
No.
The longer we wait, the less time between the implementation of stupidity and it’s potential undoing by a 2027 Democratic Congress.
Well considering he fired all the cyber security division in the federal government and put idiots in charge of the military, FBI, CIA and HHS I’m betting on our infrastructure being attacked. Water, power and nuclear plants, internet and broadcast media. Trump will then declare martial law and his takeover will be complete or he’ll blame China and start a war. Doesn’t seem far fetched at this point in time.
