Does anyone find themselves mourning how passionate and carefree young love used to be? It used to be easy to get swept off our feet

Before all these YouTube channels and relationship gurus came on the scene love used to be so… simple? I don’t know if it’s from getting older or if it’s the fact that there’s so many people trying to be a relationship guru but there seems to be so many rules about how you’re supposed to be. When we were younger we didn’t care about all that “ this person is too masculine or too feminine or too this or that”. People were just in love

Yeah, I didn’t know what a situationship or commitment issues was until I turned 25 and found myself deep in one with someone I really liked. The concept was so foreign to me that I stayed in it way longer than I should have – not because I didn’t respect myself but I guess I was just young and didn’t realize there was so many damn rules with dating.

And now that I’m 33, the rules still haven’t stopped. Lol it’s horrible

No, still very much passionate, carefree and in love with my husband now at 33 no different than when I was 19 and we first started dating.
