Had a black lady stop me in a grocery market today and ask if my hair was naturally wavy/curly. After I told her it was she told me that she could tell it needed more care and suggested I invest in a silk or cotton bonnet to protect my curls and make my hair healthier; the only problem is that I know nothing about bonnets or where to get one that isn’t polyester/spandex -which she told me to avoid.
Does anyone know of a place or website I can order a good bonnet?

Amazon. Search for “satin sleep bonnet”. Some are what I think of as a shower cap style, others are turban style.
I’ve considered getting a turban style for my own hair that is stick straight, but as it greys, it gets really wild looking from sleeping on my side. I call it my scary grandma hair.
