I good friend of mine used to work in some against her will. Yes, sex happens.
From what she says, most of it in modern times are not against their will. Just women who come to Western nations to make money for a few months or years and then go back home.
Turns out 2 fellas I know have been going to one to cheat on their wives for some time. Not with each other but with one of the masseuse-prostitutes.
I guess one of them felt guilty so he confessed to his wife. She then went and slept with their friend but then forgave him. The other wife left the other guy.
At most massage parlours, hell no. If you ask for it you will get kicked out at best or have the cops called on you at worst.
But yes, there are illegal bordellos in many places that are disguised as massage parlours to be able to operate with a facade of a legal business. Based on what I’ve heard, they usually don’t even try to give proper massages, it’s just a cover.
A massage parlor is an illegal underground ring where you get “happy endings”. As a Licensed Massage Therapist in a legit clinical setting, absolutely not!!!! I had a few clients come to me with the wrong idea and they were quickly escorted out.
The space i rented for my business was a massage parlor before I moved in. The first 4 or 5 months I was in business, I would have old white guys coming in looking for “massages.” it was always old white guys. After telling one of the old dude that we didn’t offer massages her he responded with, “I know. Is it in the back now?” I also had one woman come in that obviously didn’t speak much English. She was looking for a job and asked if I was hiring. I told her we didn’t do massages. She responded with, “I understand. I will take job anyway, ” so I am going to guess it’s not just a legend.
Depends on the country and depends on the parlour. Where I live there are 4 that don’t and 1 that offers happy endings. As the one that offers is a Thai massage place it often gets confused with the Thai massage place that doesn’t, so much that the legit place had to put a sign on their door, which I find hilarious.
I found out about it, when searching for a good message place as I had extreme tension in my shoulders and neck. I was on the fence as I hate being touched and especially by strangers (autism), so chose to look at some reviews to learn more about the experience. The online reviews weren’t subtle… In the end I decided massage wasn’t for me. Just thinking about be touched, even clothed, makes me shiver…
I do believe it is illegal in my country for places like that to offer that stuff. Prostitution is legal though, fairly rare as there are no good ways for escorts to be protected. It isn’t seen as a legal business, which means they can’t get the same kind of company insurance that gives employees benefits.
Sorry for the random info dump about prostitution. Just saw a documentary and haven’t been able to talk about it as it’s not something you talk about at the office. It would be kinda weird. Well… Weirder than spilling them here on Reddit.
If its actually called a Massage Parlor then maybe. But mostly you have massage clinics, and they are legit massage therapy businesses, and you will likely not get a happy ending at any of those. Any place that calls itself a “massage parlor” is more likely to not be a legitimate therapy clinic.
As others have said there are legitimate honest, massage parlors there are also massage bar instead of happy endings. Generally, they don’t stay in business too long the police get a word of it and close them down.
Some massage places are just for massages and you should not ask the staff for a handjob because that’s sexual harassment. Some of them are fronts and sex work goes on in them.
There are so many “MASSAGE” places around my town. The windows are always completely covered with pictures. It does make you wonder how they can afford to stay in business off just massages? And a lot of them are those re-purposed homes turned into businesses? Wish there were more replies I’m curious now too
If they’re open late at night, trust me, those aren’t just footsie massages, they’re full on extracurricular activities. We still have those in NYC. They migrate like birds, just from one sketchy storefront to another. They used to be all over my neighborhood until a closeted Republican congresswoman shut them down out of pure jealousy. If she wasn’t getting any after hours “foot rubs” no one was.
I was on the grand jury for a vice squad case, and we heard lots of testimony about a massage parlor that was being investigated for human trafficking, where the masseurs were sex workers.
We had one I know of in a town further north of mine, didn’t know anything about it until it got raided and some people were arrested for human trafficking.
I went to China in college and in one of the hotels they slid cards under the door for massages. They then called the room asking if we wanted someone to come to our room. Definitely real
Yes it’s definitely a thing. They are fronts for whore houses. If they are in a sleazy shopping center, are open till 10pm-midnight, if the front windows are limo tinted or covered in drapes….then they are pimping. Pay upfront to the house then pay the “masseuse” for what you want. There have been stings on places like these all the time.
In Thailand i went in for, what i thought was a legitimate massage, only for her to keep “accidentally ” brushing against my cock and balls.
After 30 minutes of this i was at full mast and somewhat embarrassed, but also, extremely horny
She asked i she could “massage this” and pointed at my penis before typing the extra cost price into a Nokia phone (this was 2005). I readily agreed and would have paid ten times the very small amount she was charging
What followed was about 35 seconds of the most purest pleasure I’ve ever experienced
Once finished I handed over the price for the massage and extra which, if I recall, was less than an hours wage back home in the UK, and went on my way
I dated a Registered Massage Therapist, and she said if the massage place didn’t employ RMTs, there was a good chance it was a happy ending massage place or else just a straight up brothel. Don’t know if that’s true for every city or country, this was in Toronto.
Not at real massage places. They would be more shady places where that is the actual purpose of it.
Not to say some horny RMT never did anything for someone she liked on the table, but that’s not typical. They probably would be fired instantly if caught.
Yes, very much so. I work with a small town police department that has detectives. One of the detectives wore plain clothes, which usually consisted of a flat top hair cut, clean shave, neatly pressed plaid shirt tucked into Levi relaxed fit jeans and black ankle boots. He totally looked like a cop, or a carpenter. I was talking with him one day, and just breaking his balls I said “what kind of idiot would ever sell YOU drugs?!”. That’s when he told me he was a human trafficking detective, and it was his job to find sex parlors, underground brothels and that sorta thing. He always did his investigations outside of the town he worked, as did the other Hand Job Cops.
Basically, he was the detective from South Park in real life, without the evidence bags.
Pro tip: If there’s a neon sign out front that says OPEN then it’s one of those places. If you’re still not sure, inside will likely have a cozy boudoir feel. Maybe even an ATM. And if you’re REALLY not sure, wait for the hostess/Madame to parade the girls out one at a time so they can introduce themselves.
100%. A guy I used to work with would frequent one. His girl was named Mimi. He even showed me a pic of her. It was a picture of her headshot. She was a 5 at best.
Yes, but for the most part it’s only taking place in specific massage parlors that are essentially brothels.
Most massage parlors aren’t like this at all.
But there are definitely “massage parlors” that only function just enough as actual massage parlors that they can get away with it on paper. They are usually very cheap and seedy looking but not always. The masseuses at these places usually ask a specific question when you flip over from lying on your stomach to lying on your back to indicate that they are expecting this. You say the right thing or offer the right amount of money then and they will absolutely have sex with you, or sexually stimulate you in another way.
There are also some legitimate masseuses that offer “happy endings” occasionally. These masseuses can often practice in regular massage parlors and the establishment itself almost never has any idea this is happening. Some do this just for the money, but there are also some masseuses that genuinely believe this is just another form of massage. It can help relax you and alleviate stress just like a massage, and in the case of hand stuff, it’s functionally not that different. Generally speaking though, if a masseuse that does this ever gets caught, the establishment will not only fire them on the spot because of the legal risk, but the masseuse can have a very difficult time finding work at a respected establishment again, at least for a while. For this reason, these types of masseuses are more often than not working outside of a parlor. They might do house calls, or work out of their own homes.
A friend of mine went for a massage. He usually gets them called home but he was on his way home and saw one on the way and went in. Turns out the masseuse asked what service he wanted and when he said just a massage they kicked him out. So I guess it is more common than you may imagine. He did say that it seemed a bit of a cheap place, which should have been his first red flag.
I live in a small, quiet New England town. A massage parlor just got shut down for exactly that. It was somehow there for years despite the fact that everyone knew.
And when I say everyone knew, I don’t mean in a we all just assumed kind of way. I mean in an everybody either went there at some point and was offered sex or we directly knew someone that it happened to.
One of my good friends who doesn’t live in my town and never knew anything about the place got sent there not that long ago by his doctor for rehab. He was immediately offered a happy ending for $100.
If this is happening pretty much right out in the open in my quiet little town, it’s everywhere.
I’ve had happy ending massages in many places, even full on sex at parlors in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and some Middle Eastern countries. Curiously I was able to find a theraputic massage (non sexual) in Bangkok. Rare…
A lot of rub n tugs out there. Guy I worked with went to a place all the time, said the lady looked like Aunt Jemima. He’d put a $20 on his Johnson and she’d give him a handy. I guess everyone has their vices.
Look for Private Health rebates, a wait to book, landline & Clinic or Day Spa in the name. Mobile contact, neon lights & some crazy Asian/English fusion name is a brothel.
Yes, we have a few in my city. The city cracked down on them somewhat a few years ago.
Prostitution is technically illegal in Canada, but it’s rarely enforced with criminal prosecution. Instead, the city busted a bunch of them under a local by-law for operating without a business license.
Living in the Seattle area, I’d be surprised if there’s a single legitimate massage parlor in the whole state.
You’re telling me the place people go for a relaxing massage is a half boarded up building with a single blinking “MASSAGE SPA” sign next to the tow yard? No way any of these places are legit.
You have to find the right ones but yes it definitely happens in certain ones. A close buddy called it the wishy washy where you get a “rub and a rug”.
Here in Montréal, we atin the middle of Downtown a massage parlor that have that big neon sign that read vertically “MASSAGE XXX” and it was near my job (one of the biggest canadian IT company) and looking at the clients and personnals that works there,I had no doubt of what happeing there.
I live in a not very big town, but we have an “Asian massage parlor” that’s open late into the night complete with scantily clad chicks for the window coverings and those tacky LED light rope things.
All the trashiest people fom my graduating class (like serious white trash) have left very positive Google reviews.
I often worry about the human trafficking that might be going on there.
They’ve got this whole thing all wrong. I don’t need a “Happy Ending” at the end of a massage, I’m already relaxed. They should offer them at the dentist or after a school Christmas concert.
Dude these are everywhere in so cal. There is one literally at the shopping center down the street from where I live lol. I don’t know if they offer full blown sex as a service but they do offer hand jobs from what I heard
I hurt my back, my girlfriend suggested I get a massage and so I started looking for a decent place..
Almost all the massage places in my city had comments on Google reviews like “you’ll be very “happy” with the service here”
There are actual massage places here but they’re always marketed as sports recovery etc. Anything that mentions relaxing, has even a vaguely Asian name etc all seem to be fronts for other things. So its clearly not an urban legend.. in the end I took some painkillers and now me and my girlfriend play a game of “real or front” when we spot a massage place.
In my hometown there was this massage parlour that used to change it’s name all the time. I think when I was a kid it was “Nicole’s massage” then it changed to “Seven Heavens” but always had the silhouette of a woman in a bikini on the front. Everyone knew it was basically a brothel but the more sleezy guys in town used to go there for “massages”. I’m not sure when it closed down but it hasn’t been there for a while. The funniest part was that they had a main door and a door around the back. Don’t know why but the main door always has the shutter down when you’d drive by and the sign on the side of the building said “entrance at rear” which always got a laugh every time I drove by.
Happy endings (handjobs) are pretty common, even when getting legitimate massages. I get massages pretty frequently and haven’t been turned down yet. It all depends on how you ask
Some ”massage parlors” are just fronts for prostitution, yes. They are real. They typically offer handjobs to clients but may offer more. You can tell if a message parlor is likely just a prostitution front if it always has the shutters down and just looks “sleazy,” is in some inconspicuous area with no advertising, etc. And all the customers are men. Any red lights are also a dead giveaway, that’s a well-known symbol for a brothel.
In London most places that say ‘massage’ outside are almost certainly brothels. Or will definitely offer a massage and happy ending ‘rub and a tug’ as it’s known.
I friend of mine had a bad back and had to sit a certain way and something got lost in translation. The first girl said “no” but ill ask if another girl will take care of you. The other girl said “Yes he’s nice looking I’ll do it.” He had to explain to her in broken English the bad back situation and he really did just need the massage nothing else.
you’ll know when it’s mostly asian or latin women that seem like they are forced to be there. yes very much real and they know what they are doing. debates happen often
In Sweden, on the first floor of my apartment building there was a thai massage establishment, always open until late, like 10-11PM, in an area that’s completely empty way before that. Their windows were always covered with a tacky curtain and had a neon “open” sign. Needless to say that I often saw some nervous men, waiting by the entrance to be let in, during the dark hours. Pretty sure they left happy… 😅
I used to work in a strip mall and our neighboring business shared a wall with the massage parlor that was open 24/7 and next to a bar. They said they could hear what was going on through the walls (yes they were serving happy endings) also, I have a friends who went to one and they tried to give him one (he didn’t ask) additionally, his girlfriend got a massage there too and they tried to happy ending her as well. Where I live there are these massage parlors everywhere
There are massage parlors that only have massages. There are massage parlors that only have sex. There are massage parlors that have massages and sex. But yea…it’s a thing. There are plenty by the book legit therapeutic massage parlors. Just as there are plenty of illegal prostitution rings fronted as massage parlors
It’s not an urban legend, but let’s just say the massage parlours that offer “extras” have a particular aesthetic about them. You couldn’t really confuse them for professional massage parlours.
Yes got a handy dandy while on vacation. I was the first customer and when I left there was a line of guys outside. They were looking around like they didn’t know what it was 🤣🤣
Some. I worked at a nationwide U.S. massage chain so it was only massages and facials, but we still had the occasional caller covertly asking for happy endings.
About 12 years ago, I worked at a smoke shop in a sketchy strip mall. I worked there for two years, I got the job from a buddy of mine who hired me, he was the manager. Next door to our shop, there was a place called “Dream”. It was not on google maps and there wasn’t any information about it. My buddy told me it was a happy ending massage parlor. Over my time of working there, I would see people of all classes pulling up and going in: people in fancy BMWs or Mercedes with suits on, people in run down rust bucket trucks wearing shorts and flip flops, even groups of friends all going in together. Occasionally, a few very small Asian women would come in and they would always buy Marlboro Lights. These women looked like Asian crack whore children. One time one of my friends who came to hang out with me at the shop decided to go in out of curiosity, but after they discovered he didn’t have any money they kicked him out. Eventually, after about a year of working there, I was working one night and at about 11PM an hour before I closed an entire SWAT team showed up and they raided it, took away the little Asian girls in handcuffs and everything. After that, it became an illegal gambling room.
EDIT: I looked it up and apparently its back to being a “massage” parlor, though they actually have a website and could actually be legit, but I doubt it.
I work for a company that does a lot of work with small businesses around the US. I speak with business owners all the time, some of them own massage parlors. But we strictly will not work with massage parlors that are not on the up and up.
So we have a team that does like 2 minutes of research into every business to make sure they are only massage parlors and not involved in anything else. I can guarantee that some massage parlors not only offer sex, but actively advertise it on some lesser known websites. Again 2 minutes of research to find this for some companies.
There’s one literally right down the street from my house. It’s in a little strip of stores between a laundromat and a smoke shop.
One time I went to buy rolling papers and was feeling achy after starting a new job, so I figured I’d just pop in and ask about prices.
Instead of a lobby, I was greeted with a much smaller room with a locked door, an intercom, and a security camera – similar to what you’d see getting your ID checked at dispensaries, but much sketchier.
Fuckkk that. I turned around and immediately left. Looked up their website online and 100% confirmed that it was a brothel.
There are gifs of massages with women in revealing clothes / positions, clearly taken from the beginning of a porno. The “staff” page is all photos of busty Asian models from the neck down. Quotes about “luxury VIP experience”.
Yes probably on your town and they are barely hidden search massage in your city on Google photos at least one will probably have a more picture of random Asian models than of a massage table
My dad is a massage therapist, he regularly has sex with clients he’s close too. he fulfills the message, then Will have sex with the people that he knows outside of just massage. You cant pay him to fuck, but he does fuck clients (that he is close too) generally after a massage and a fairly nice tip
My ex’s friend started going to these massage parlors to pay for sex. It’s not an urban legend. I always thought the same until I became aware of this.
4 or 5 in my town got raided a few months back and closed down. It’s been happening for years but it takes that long to build up a case. It was all sex trafficking. Took down a bunch in the state the same day.
I mean, not at Massage Envy or United Artists or Hand and Stone. Those are legitimate businesses with trained, often certified massage therapists.
But the one on the outskirts of town staffed almost entirely by malnourished looking women from Eastern Europe or Southeast Asia? Yeah, it happens at that one.

Google the name of your city + massage parlor sting
I accidentally went to 2 Seperate rub n tugs in the same city in California, both times looking for legitimate massages.
They change their tone when you don’t want anything extra after.
There’s one down the street from me. It’s next to the place I get tattooed, and my artist told about how sketchy it is
Hand jobs, if the place looks sketchy and you get that vibe sure ask.
Straight up sex, probably very rarely unless it is a straight up front for sex trafficking.

Masseuse – sex
Massage parlour – sex
Massage clinic: medical treatment center
Registered Massage Therapist: medical treatment by a highly trained medical professional
Note; it’s not always so cut and dried, but in general it fits.
If it’s an amp, the answer is more than likely yes.
Don’t know from personal experience, I’d never go to such an establishment Mr. Agent.

You have to find the right ones but yes it definitely happens in certain ones. A close buddy called it the wishy washy where you get a “rub and a rug”.
I had some LEGENDARY sex there…it’s true!
Here in Montréal, we atin the middle of Downtown a massage parlor that have that big neon sign that read vertically “MASSAGE XXX” and it was near my job (one of the biggest canadian IT company) and looking at the clients and personnals that works there,I had no doubt of what happeing there.
It absolutely happens, my husband cheated on me for 17 years by visiting them monthly or more.
It does, and it’s illegal
I’m cracking up at the number of stories that start with “a friend of mine” or “my coworker told me…”
There’s an app that has maps and reviews. Can’t remember the name
In Japan. They stand on the street corner and ask you “Masaji?”.
A place in my hometown just got busted for this lol it was on the news. “Massages” and undocumented immigrants giving them out lol
Oh, yes.
In some countries, it does happen.
Rub n’ Tug
Some places do sand some places done
Definitely a thing. Near me anyway, it is on a very busy road and looks like a house.
This is the only one out of 15-20 massage businesses in the area though that I know does that though. Many people know it as “that one”.
All you need to do is go to any massage parlor that is located within 1 mile of any military base and you will find the answer you seek.
No but I went to a massage parlour once and was asked if I wanted a happy ending I politely declined but I’m guessing it does happen in some places
This depends on how close the nearest Army base is 🤣
Some do.
It is BY FAR the exception and NOT the rule
Absolutely lol, although most places probably don’t
If it’s a larger chain, or more professional “wellness clinic” then no. But people definitely do stuff on the down low in some spots
Uh, yeah. Ever heard of the murderer Robert Aaron Long?
Happy endings (handjobs) are pretty common, even when getting legitimate massages. I get massages pretty frequently and haven’t been turned down yet. It all depends on how you ask
Absolutely
I don’t know any that offer straight sex, but 100% of the Asian ones I’ve seen in 3 different states I’ve lived in give head and do hand jobs. 100%
Yes, I’ve gotten one 💀
Bristol seems to have a lot of brothels dressed up lightly as massage parlours. The pretence is not very strong.
In London most places that say ‘massage’ outside are almost certainly brothels. Or will definitely offer a massage and happy ending ‘rub and a tug’ as it’s known.
I am from Montreal, here every decent neighborhoods have at least one. But yet again, it’s Montreal.
So I guess in some situations yes.
you’ll know when it’s mostly asian or latin women that seem like they are forced to be there. yes very much real and they know what they are doing. debates happen often
Yes. Not all, obviously, but massage parlours are one of the most common disguises for brothels, especially in countries where it’s illegal.
“Varför springer du Dermot!?”
A couple of those places just got shut down near my house for actually offering such things. It still happens I’m sure.
I had a good friend lose his virginity at a massage parlor for $125 (1995 dollars)
My friend was a “happy endings” massage therapist. It definitely happens.
Correction, “masseuse.” She was not licensed. She did go to massage therapy school.
A few were found and raided around Columbus, Ohio within the last few months!
It’s not an urban legend, but let’s just say the massage parlours that offer “extras” have a particular aesthetic about them. You couldn’t really confuse them for professional massage parlours.
Few of them here in Bradenton/sarasota. Think it’s mostly just hand jobs, some places may blow you too
Its called “full service”
Some were raided in Dallas Texas for this recently
Yes got a handy dandy while on vacation. I was the first customer and when I left there was a line of guys outside. They were looking around like they didn’t know what it was 🤣🤣
Some. I worked at a nationwide U.S. massage chain so it was only massages and facials, but we still had the occasional caller covertly asking for happy endings.
If the government taxed text messages they would make a fortune.
It happens, and gets shut down eventually, but it happens more than I thought was real
Depends on the parlor. 3 of em a town over were busted for happy endings. Thankfully it wasn’t an issue at my fiance’s Spa
Go ask in r/SantaRosa
It happens but most places are above the belt line
I work for a company that does a lot of work with small businesses around the US. I speak with business owners all the time, some of them own massage parlors. But we strictly will not work with massage parlors that are not on the up and up.
So we have a team that does like 2 minutes of research into every business to make sure they are only massage parlors and not involved in anything else. I can guarantee that some massage parlors not only offer sex, but actively advertise it on some lesser known websites. Again 2 minutes of research to find this for some companies.
There are some and they often are raided for sex trafficking.
We had an MP get busted for “happy-endings”
There’s a Thai massage place that I walk past everyday to go to work, they have a sign in their window that says ‘no happy ending here, STOP ASKING!’
Does a duck with a boner drag weeds?
My dad is a massage therapist, he regularly has sex with clients he’s close too. he fulfills the message, then Will have sex with the people that he knows outside of just massage. You cant pay him to fuck, but he does fuck clients (that he is close too) generally after a massage and a fairly nice tip
Go to Houston. There are plenty of fake plastic latinas that will tickle your pickle for a hefty price.
Just google – adult search, adult look, eccie and bed page.
