Location: Middle Tennessee
Hey guys, I’m looking for a few very similar leveled answers for someone located in middle Tennessee regarding dogs and private property regarding the dogs:
-
If our dogs on our private property attack another individual’s dog who comes on our property, who is at fault? This would be an un-leashed dog under visual supervision (letting them outside in the front yard to potty for example)
-
Regarding the above question, regardless of who is at fault, if the same scenario occurs but just literally on the pavement of the road that is parallel to our home, who is at fault? Iirc, property extends partially out to the road or something? May have been something i made up or could be real, i dont remember.
For context, we have an issue with a neighbor’s dog coming on to our property. We have a farm and we have a chicken guard dog to, well, protect our chickens while outside. Just curious what may happen if this dog steps past the line too much and the worst happens.
Thanks ahead of time for the answers!
