[Dragon Ball Z] Would Chi Chi have believed Goku if he told her that Gohan defeated Garlic Jr?

r/

At the end of Deadzone after Gohan defeats Garlic Jr, and doesn’t remember it, Goku doesn’t think Chi Chi will believe how strong their son is and decides to keep it a secret. Would Chi Chi have believed Gohan beat an enemy Goku couldn’t overcome or not? As outlandish as that sounds, Goku is not a liar.

Chi-Chi doesn’t give a Saiyan’s tail how strong Gohan is, in her mind it is a simple as Gohan should not have been in that situation and should be studying. The main reason she relents in the end is when Gohan is older and able to speak more for himself, Deadzone era Gohan is like 4 if not slightly younger
