I will be going to mexico during dia de los muertos and was wondering if it whould be ok if I seen some one in the street to ask to take a picture with them I know it’s. A private celebration to celebrate lost loved but I know some places in mexico do it as a tourist thing since 007 had the parade?
Edit
I
I would have no intention of doing it near a cemetery or sneaking in some where I was not welcome

Just don’t do it in a cemetery.
If they are not mourning someone or in the middle of something like a cementery or like inside their property in a family celebration, you are good
You could ask but it’ll depend. If you’re walking near a main avenue and see a tourist-like celebration such as the parade, and want to take a photo of someone dressed as a catrina it’ll likely be fine to ask and if they’re an adult who can say “yes nw”.
but if it’s a private thing where you want to sneak into a cemetery and ask people next to tombstones of their loved ones for a pic then yes that’d be disrespectful as heck
