Your phone case doesn’t have a perfect fit. If you push on the edges a little you’ll see them move. Dirt starts to get under the edge and every time you put it in your pocket or grip it weird or throw it on your bed the case shifts slightly and that dirt slowly gets worked further and further between the case and the phone

The inside of your pocket is full of lint and fluff. This is constantly getting rubbed off the outside of your phone, but if it’s worked its way into the gaps around the edge of your phone case it stays there and gets slowly smooshed around as you walk.

So the Doctor said I wouldn’t get so many nosebleeds unless I kept my finger out of there.

The mic holes, camera cutout, speaker holes, charging port cutout, all have room to allow dust to settle in between the gap.

A sugar ant somehow found its way into my radio, through all the innards, and placed itself between the LCD screen and the protective front plastic. Then it died there. Stupid ants.
