ELI5 : What does it take to immagrate to and live in another country?

I’ve never even traveled out of the country, but the idea of going to somewhere like Sweden becomes more and more appealing. Hell, maybe Canada even.

    The short answer is: it depends on the country.

    It depends on the country. If you’re serious you need to research each one on a case by case basis. In the end they all require formal paperwork and applications.

    Canada is weird, it’s hard for Americans to move there, but Indians apparently have no issue, I never looked into why that is, or maybe it’s not as hard is it seems?

    You need to check what are the immigration requirements for each country.

    They all have different requirements.

    first, at least get a passport; and plan a small visit to the coutries you are interested to see how it is.

    For example, Sweden and Canada in the middle of winter…
