ending a situationship during med school exams??

AITAH my (M27) situationship is in med school in another province (like 600km away) and we’ve been in a situationship for like 7 months that was pretty serious. her (F26) final exams are this week, i’ve wanted to end it for a while but i wanted to wait until after the exams. now she’s asking pointed questions though and i feel bad trying to escape them.

am i the asshole if i wait?? what do i do? advice appreciated. for context she’s mentioned before how stressed she was about these exams and didn’t want our “relationship” making it worse

TLDR: end things with someone in exams or wait 4 days?
