Ex roommate was sending non consensual pics to my bf

I discovered my bfs best friend and ex roommate was sharing nudes of women he was dating and sleeping with to my boyfriend.

I can identify almost all the women and the context of what he shared is clearly out of malice considering he was talking negatively about them, ranking their bodies, etc. Some of the pictures were also obviously taken from snapchat.

I’ve even seen one of the women come over in person when I used to live with both of them. My boyfriend verbally told him to stop years ago but his best friend continued to do it anyways and my bf felt like he couldn’t do anything about it since he had to stay on his “good side” to have a place to live. the timeframe of when the images stop being shared appears to only be around the time I start dating my partner but my boyfriend also told me in the past there was also a video his friend sent of his ex girlfriend getting dressed in their bedroom and it was recorded through his bedroom camera.

i used to be friends with this person too but we are both currently NC since moving out but we’ve been scared to do anything since his friend actually figured out where we moved away too and sent us a picture of our own kitchen (the staged photo via housing websites) after getting our address somehow despite us not telling anyone our address.

i don’t know what to do about the pictures but it makes me deeply uncomfortable to think that he just can get away with doing stuff like this. If I take this to the police will my partner get in trouble for the pictures being sent to HIM even though he never requested it? Verbally told him to stop? because he didn’t report it sooner because of not having anywhere else to live/go?

I don’t know the specifics of revenge p. laws here and if they will even take it seriously. do i reach out to the women and let them know? a good portion of them still see this person because they must not have any idea and I don’t know if these images were sent to anyone else beyond my partner.
