Excessive security cameras in the workplace? (Oregon)

Location: Multnomah County Oregon
I work in a motel being repurposed as a shelter by a nonprofit, I’ve been here almost a year now and the cameras are out of control.

First and foremost, they record audio, I know this because when they didn’t have the computer with access to the CCTV secured, my coworkers went and tried to verify something, hearing audio of us in the lobby in the process, and afterwards they admitted it in a staff meeting and even put up a little sign that says “we can hear you, no sleeping on your break”

Second of all, they’ve installed an additional three in areas that are questionable at best in the last six months, including multiple in an area that’s supposed to be a break room but they end up using it for other things like the clothing donations and other things. The latest one is positioned to where inside the bathroom can be seen if the door isn’t shut.

This all just doesn’t feel right to me, like I feel like these are huge breaches of privacy, I never signed anything agreeing to have audio recordings of me, I would never agree to it. I used to use the break room to do my physical therapy stretches because I don’t like people watching me do them, it’s nothing deep or nefarious, I just don’t want idk who watching me in positions that are vulnerable and a bit suggestive (lower back stretches) I don’t feel like I have any place in this building that isn’t being watched. It’s very 1984 coded with the constant surveillance in my eyes at this point.
