Hi friends!
I have had an IUD for decades and thus have no periods (it’s so nice). I recently had surgery to marsupialize my recurrent Bartholin cysts (FYI: looking this up will show you vulva pics/diagrams) and I’m finally not oozing so much that I need heavy pads. I’d like to find some nice cotton/cotton topped panty liners (unscented) to tide me over until my recovery is complete. Since I don’t think I’ll need them for long, I prefer not to invest in period panties. Comfort is important as one of my cysts was so big and complicated, they had to make an incision on the outside of my labia and that little bugger is sensitive and slowly healing from the inside out.
I’ve been out of the menstruation game for so long that everything is new to me. Any brand recommendations would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

They aren’t cotton topped but I don’t think I’ll ever use a liner than the Always standard liners. Comfortable with great staying power. I switched to cotton topped pads for my period because non cotton ones would irritate my skin, but for whatever reason the Always regular liners haven’t/don’t so I haven’t needed to switch from them.
Bartholin’s cancer survivor here (took a couple surgeries but it’s been gone for 2 years so I’m pretending I’m immortal now). I used the Always cotton pads in the smallest absorbancy. They felt like overkill but I found pantyliners chafed the surgical site because their edges were on the labia – wings on the pads meant the soft bits made contact instead.
Good luck and once it heals remember to do mobility work so the scar tissue doesn’t make the area stiff.
Cora. They’re pretty soft and all organic cotton, so I find them gentler on delicate skin. I’ve used them for similar wound healing in the past.
