For those who work in an office setting without a dress code, how often do you see an out of shape person dressed okay but perceive them as a slob anyway?
How often do you see a fit person dress more casually and they still look fine so your judgment is positive?
We have a few people in our office who wear suits every day but they don’t look good in them. We also have quite a few more casually dressed people who are in shape, even if not pretty or handsome, but they still look put together in comfortable clothing.
Admittedly, this opinion might just be unpopular to express.

Not even fit just skinny tbh
As a person who has been both fit and overweight, you are absolutely correct. My coworker is young, beautiful, and thin. She comes to work every day in workout gear. We DO have a casual office so it’s fine, but I honestly believe that if I were to do that, I would not be where I am today.
I dont really get what you mean. There is ALWAYS a dress code, it just might not really be enforced. Those people wearing a suit look out of place because they are going against the dress code. It doesn’t matter if they are fit or in shape.
It has nothing to do with fitness levels.
True that, the body is the outfit. Many thin/fit people wear horrendous stuff, it just flows on their body differently. Maybe it’s social conditioning?
Popular opinion that is not uttered often.
The kind of popular opinion we pretend is unpopular
