Peptobismol. Hope you’re better soon.
you’re going to hate this answer but I chug a whole 16 ounce water bottle quickly & then I have something solid enough, like a mango or bread?
Ginger can help settle your stomach. Also, smelling rubbing alcohol seems to help with nausea.
The food might not be the cause, just coincidental. I’d be careful around other people for a while in case you’re contagious.
Ime it’s not going to pass until it..passes 🙁 sorry. It’s gonna have to get out of your system and all you can do meantime is stay hydrated and just put up with the misery, it’ll be over pretty soon.
This sounds like you might be coming down with a stomach bug. Plain, starchy foods are going to be your best friend. White rice with a little salt and pepper, egg drop soup, applesauce, that sort of thing. Get lots of rest and try to drink small amounts of water frequently. If you can’t stand the thought of water, fruit juice is also a good option.
Makhani has cream, so if it was left out long before pickup or was in a hot car, chances are it went bad. Get ginger ale and Pepto bismol. When you’re feeling more settled make sure you get some electrolytes, Pedialyte works well. You need to rehydrate yourself. I hope you feel better soon!
BRAT diet for diarrhea. Bananas Rice Applesauce Toast. Hydrate, but wisely. watered down by half Gatorade, a liquid iv packet in a glass of water, something like that. If you feel you can have something else to eat, try my loose take on egg flower soup that I make while sick; chicken broth, soy sauce, pepper, garlic powder, the eggs. Protein and salty broth in a gentle format is 10/10. And find a cozy spot to sit and sulk the pain away because honestly that’s all you can do sometimes and that ok!
Make yourself some Jello following the standard recipe, then drink it warm. It’ll sooth your throat and help settle your stomach, while hydrating you and getting sugar into your body.
I’m a big fan of ginger ale and toast with peanut butter if you can keep it down.
If not, popsicles.
For me personally, cold coke zero helps best with all stomach discomforts. I don’t know why, there is no real medical reason. But it is the only thing that helps.
Buy some Gatorade and mix it half and half with water. It will keep you hydrated and restore electrolytes without upsetting your stomach more.
Ginger tea. If you have fresh ginger on hand, just slice some up and boil it for a bit. Other than that, you mostly need to let it take its course and try to stay hydrated and stick to foods that are easily digested (bread, eggs, rice). Chances are you’ll feel miserable for a day or so, and then you’ll be fine.
