Read a book for 50 million dollars ? Okay I guess

  3. MisterKaoss Avatar

    Nah, that’s too easy.

Make it a weekend so it doesnt affect work and I’m in. Read books, craft, get outdoors. My daughter might complain at not having her morning tv show while she wakes up but for 2 days I think we’d live.

I’d do it for like £150

How is this a question? Ya, I like the internet but still. Might be bored at work, but oh well. 2nd thought. I’d quit. Probably see a movie. Read a manga. Easiest money over. If it was a year, I’d still take it. Would definitely be boring at work, but it’s 50 mil.

  8. JoePW6964 Avatar

I would get a notebook and write down all the ways I was going to spend my 50 mil.

  9. Knight_thrasher Avatar

Well I would be upset my Reddit streak is over. I have plenty of DvDs and games that don’t require internet I’ll be ok

  10. MetalGuy_J Avatar

Don’t need Internet to play guitar, write the scripts for upcoming YouTube videos, playlist downloaded so I don’t need the Internet for tunes either

  11. Intermidon Avatar

Go to the beach, sleep, exercise, cook, read and hang out with cats. Shit I’d do this for a year for 50 mil. Easiest 50 mil ever.

No internet meaning no ATM’s no online banking or eftpos, no tv, no phone obv… you can basically watch free to air TV… I guess I’m spending the next 2 days drinking and doing that… like the early 2000’s…

48 hours? Alright. I have offline games to play and American Dad episodes downloaded. I’m set.

This is even funnier than when Rick turned himself into a pickle.

  15. Usual-Bag-3605 Avatar

I was an adult before the internet even became A Thing everyone uses. 48 hours is nothing.

  16. The_Silver_Adept Avatar

Does it increase if you go longer?

Either way this is in the bag

  17. ContributionLatter32 Avatar

seriously? How is that even a question?

  18. CrazyBarks94 Avatar

I’ve done this for 2 weeks before, went fishing and swimming a bunch and cleaned my dads shed.

  19. Lady_Gator_2027 Avatar

Heck, I do that just about every hurricane season.

  20. leolawilliams5859 Avatar

I would read four books in 2 days because I need to clear off the shelf of my need to read books. This is a walk in the park for me $50 million no internet for 2 days I am good

  21. Cheeslord2 Avatar

Easy. Read books (physical paper books, I still have many of them)

  22. RevanSaber Avatar

    I’d do it for $50

  23. Ximinipot Avatar

Easy peasy. Thanks for the generational money.

  24. AnAngryBartender Avatar

I already did this last year when a hurricane hit. For double that time. It was boring but fine.

Easiest 50 million ever. Well worth it.

  25. wolfhybred1994 Avatar

My family struggles with 4-8 minutes of internet being down. I’m the tech savy one, but I would happily go 3-5 days without internet for that kind of money. It would end all my suffering and let me finally live a semi normal life. With the extra to invest and earn and be able to help others for having done so much to get me where I am today.

  26. AndreGerdpister Avatar

I collect physical media, I largely wouldn’t notice. Easy easy easy.

  27. obviousthrowaway038 Avatar

LoL a typhoon ripped through where I lived a couple of years ago basically screwing up EVERYthing for everyone. No power – some areas for months – no phone service (mobile) for like weeks. Seeing the Gen Zrs and Alphas lose their shit was hilarious.
Are you kidding? This is an EASY challenge. Run me that money.

  28. tkwp-01 Avatar

I’ll just go to the bush camping.

  29. Careby Avatar

You had me at 50. The millions are just an extra bonus.

  30. LittleMissFakeChef Avatar

There was a whole day of outage last year with one of the big telecommunications companies. Every one who had an account with that company was without internet for about 8 hours.

This is the easiest 50 mill ever. I’m Gen-X.

  31. WesthoodTwist Avatar

    This is so easy
    I would do a week for $50

  32. AccordingLibrarian27 Avatar

Sleep, work out, I have PS4 games I can play offline. I have a ton of audiobooks downloaded already.

  33. Cat-Sonantis Avatar

I would struggle, especially as my texts often either don’t get through or at the very least take ages so using them as another form of communication and social media would be difficult, but if I know it’s going to happend I know for how long and can make plans with people in advance then I could do it, I’d sleep and read and hang out with friends I could do it, with knowledge of the time limit and with having this goal in mind, I could do it, throw in another 48 and bring it up to 100million why not

  34. Pitiful-Assistance-1 Avatar

Absolutely not. I cannot live without internet. What if I get sick and I need to google my symptoms?

  35. Somalar Avatar

Yes and so would everyone including those with problems putting their phone down

  36. Ok_Mycologist2361 Avatar

An unfathomable amount of money for a 48 hour minor inconvenience. What a ridiculous question.

Hey how about this one, would you take a billion dollars for one day without ketchup?
