Thrilled to find this group. My narc MIL literally tried to steal my family bible at our wedding, claiming “oh what’s this?” As she was trying to swipe it from the altar, apparently my sister in law saw what was happening and told her “you know exactly what that is and you’re going to put it back.”
Very glad to be here. That was 15 years ago and now she’s threatening to cut my husband out of the inheritance (fine with us!) because I won’t talk to her and my husband doesn’t want to be around her either. She’s tried to ruin my life for two long.
