French food is bland. Sure, it’s pretty. French chefs spend a lot of time making art out of food, but just about any other culture has tastier food than the French.

    French fries are about all they are known for right? That and maybe snails which imo voids any opinion they have on food.

    French food itself can be kinda underwhelming, but they invented a huge amount of the techniques and flavor profiles that tons of different cuisines use. They pretty much invented fine dining
