Now don’t get me wrong, I love rock music, I love The Beatles, Queen, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac etc. but I just can’t stand Guns N’ Roses. I think Axl Rose’s voice is the most annoying shit ever.

Looks like you won’t be welcomed to the jungle.
lol did you just watch The Last Of Us and shake your head at that answer as well? There are so many good g bands…
They’re AC/DC level of meh. I wouldn’t buy a thing from them, but I would take a free ticket. I did see them by way of a free ticket. It was meh.
I have to agree but I can’t say if that’s a popular opinion because no one I know listens to them 😂
Are??? 🧐
Slash is cool as fuck though. I also do not like Axl or GnR in general but Slash is like a cartoon character and I love it haha
The reggae version of sweet child o mine is such good vibes
Axl Rose reminds me of a constipated Janis Joplin. But his voice “works” on their big hits
They’re not transcendent artists, but they’re really good at what they are. Appetite for Destruction is one of the rare times when a band’s first album is a banger. Mr. Brownstone and Night Train are head nodders
Axel Rose’s voice from a technical perspective, is actually impressive. He can/could cover about 5 octaves, from low bass to high soprano and is one of the reasons he is considered one of the greatest rock vocalists of his generation.
For context, Freddie Mercury could cover about 4 octaves, however, Freddie’s ability to sing across this range with such power, precision and emotional expression is what set him apart.
Unpopular to me. November Rain is brilliant.
I was in 7th grade when Appetite for Destruction was released and it made quite a splash. It was a great album and I never get tired of “Welcome to the Jungle,” “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” or even “Nightrain.” I haven’t really been into Guns ‘n Roses for a while, they were a relatively short lived bad, but some of the music they put out was great. You get an upvote for the unpopular opinion.
