As a woman, I have no issues with this. I pegged my ex and we both enjoyed it. I want him to feel pleasure and enjoy what he likes and even when he masturbates, if he enjoys anal penetration of any kind, I see nothing wrong with that. What he does to his own body is his choice and who am I to say otherwise.
More common than you think
Pegging is a specific thing. Fingering your butt isn’t pegging, it’s just fingering your butt.
To clarify; it’s ‘pegging’ specifically when it’s a woman using a strap-on to perform anal on a guy. Anything else is just anal (penetrative sex), or anal play (use of fingers/toys/etc in a way that doesn’t recreate penetrative sex).
If you’re enjoying fingering your butt, that’s just fingering your butt, man. And no, most modern, progressive, people are not going to care or think it’s weird regardless of gender.
Most of the issue that any given person – woman or otherwise – might have with a man enjoying anal play during masturbation is due to homophobia and sexism (eg, the belief that a man who enjoys anal play is secretly gay or effeminate, and therefore [insert negative judgement]).
That said, not everyone is into anal play, or participating/being present for a partner engaging in it – even with prep and everything being cleaned up, a lot of folks can’t get passed ‘but poop comes from there’ and have enough of an instinctual ick about it that even if they don’t judge someone for enjoying it, it’s not something they want to hear about or be around for – and, again, that’s regardless of gender.
In any case, as homophobia and sexism continues to become outdated among people who care about individual humans more than gender roles/norms, guys being into anal play has become increasingly de-stigmatized. It’s not your fault biology put your g-spot (p-spot, rather) up your butt, and most people who aren’t stuck in some weird 1950’s view of masculinity don’t have any issue with men wanting to feel good.
