I (40sM) just started using a good cleanser, moisturizer, exfoliant, vitamin C, and sunscreen that doesn’t feel gross. What do you guys do? What products? How much do you spend? Suggestions? White guy trying not to look like a worn leather bag.

Clean diet, hydration, no smoking, daily exposure to sun, soap to the face when I get home, clean beadsheets, moisturizer
Avoiding chemical sunscreen and other chemical stuff that I do not want my skin to absorb.
Just some water and once in a while some shower body/facewash. Nothing special.
Guys, over 30, skincare routine
Pick two
Ha.
Dove soap and water in the shower
Water and a hat.
I’m a man in my late thirties. My main products are Cerave face wash and Cerave face lotion. I use those every morning and every night. I also use a salicylic acid toner and a Cerave retinol serum every night after I wash my face. And I have a Biore face sunscreen that I use every single morning, and I’ll reapply it throughout the day if I’m outside a lot.
I know lots of men don’t care about skincare at all, but if nothing else, they should use sunscreen! It protects you from skin cancer and also reduces visible signs of aging.
This is gonna feel like a sponsored ad, but I use OneSkin. Uses the peptide from this study: https://www.nature.com/articles/s41514-023-00109-1 to help skin health and slow aging in the skin. I also always put on sunscreen. Guys, the earlier you start wearing sunscreen the better, UV damage is a significant cause of aging in the skin, and can also lead to cancer!
Beard.
I wash my face with Cetaphil cleanser. Nothing else. No moisturizer. I try to stay out of the sun excessively.
