Does it count as a date if you’re already in a relationship with someone? For example, if you go to cinema/ restaurant – Is it still considered a date if you’re already together?

Yes, there’s a reason we call it “date night”.

Depends. Some times a movie and dinner is just a movie and dinner.

Doesn’t have to be a special day for a date but, for me, it requires a bit more… effort.

The wife and I did dinner out and movies all the time. Never once was it a date. Just a coupe out of the house.

Date night was more a movie on at home and cuddling on the couch type thing.

The ex and I would pick up food or not want to cook and go to a restaurant for a quick dinner. Not a date.

Making plans and taking an extra step to maybe put on… clean jeans… date night.

Not always a date. To me, anyways.
