You can use a fake email and you get free stuff. What is the problem. If I sign up for pretty much anything you get free shit for isn’t it and it’s super easy to make fake email accounts. Why are people so salty about it? Take the free stuff!

People, in general, I think are just fatigued. It doesn’t seem like very long ago people were shoving subscriptions down our throat or making us create an account to do basic every day things. However, I get wanting the perks. I got me my McDonalds points.
You are the one who signed the contract. Let the others worry about themselves.
When I’m ordering some Wendy’s, yeah gimme the free shit. When I was traveling and had to download an app and register an account just to park, I was a bit peeved.
Those memberships sometimes say not crappy things that some shifty companies try to use can try to use against you. Look at Disney for example
Purposely misspell your first name differently in all of them. That way you know what sites are selling your information.
The biggest offender I found was LinkedIn
If you like the free stuff I’m happy for you, but I just think society could afford to simplify itself by a ton. I’m not even worried that “they use my data” though they probably do, it’s just over the top. If I’m going to Taco Bell, I just wanna drive up, give you the money, you give me the taco, and I’m out. Time tested formula. I don’t need you to send me a promotional email on my birthday. I don’t need a hundred apps on my phone for every company I’ve ever interacted with. I don’t want to collect credit card points on 40 accounts so that I can fly first class on one random flight in 10 years. I’m good, just want an honest price for a basic product.
