I’ve been seeing this guy for over 3 months now, and on the first month mark, we have shared our interest for each other. In a month, we see each other 3-4 times because of a mandatory event. And during those times, that’s when we hangout and spend some time.
Since the beginning, I noticed that he really isn’t much of a texter and he has expressed that he would rather meet up and chat in person than make calls or texts. Important to note that He and I lives quite far from each other, multiple bus rides and train rides for us to meet halfway. It takes a whole lot of effort, but personally, I don’t mind.
The longer we’ve been talking, the more I notice that he doesn’t really make an effort. It frustrates me tbh, but I try to be understanding because he might have some things going on that he doesn’t talk about. But sometimes, I just wish he’d communicate better with me, and involve me in his life. It feels as if I’m the only one interested in getting to know him emotionally and personally. I put effort in making plans to have it easy for him, and I take steps to possibly move forward with this relationship. But I don’t feel him willing to do anything to make it work.
He can even go days and week without talking to me, sometimes leaving me on delivered whenever I initiate the text:’) (and ig i understand, bc he “hates texting” and would rather meet) but then again, he doesn’t even make plans for us to meet, and even if I did make plans, he would be unsure. So the response I get from him would only be, “let’s see”.
It’s weird cuz whenever we see eo from the event and hangout, I would feel that he’s sincere and that he actually feels something for me. But when we’re far apart, it’s like he’s gone. I don’t feel him at all. no texts no calls none at all. So I wonder, how are we gonna keep this connection going, how are we gonna move forward.
