It is said that very tall people tend to age worse with premature health issues. What are your experiences? Can you confirm that the tallest in your generation age worse or lived shorter?

Can’t speak for all but at 6’6 and in my later 60’s I am experiencing issues that may be “tall” related. I notice the slouching some and other related issues. But I also had a very physical job and played sports until pain in the knees and so on slowed me down in my 40’s. Also stupidly allowed myself to put too much weight on which did not help and although I am back down to my old weight it may be too little too late. I’ve noticed the same in other tall relatives and friends as well.
My 5’11” great aunt lived to age 95, and my 6’5″ FIL lived until age 100. My great aunt was in assisted living for the last 4 years of her life, but my FIL lived with my MIL in their home until his death.
There are many many studies on this topic. No concrete conclusions. Being over weight is the body type that shows a high degree of health issues.
