Helpppppp with divorce papers

Hi all,

I really couldn’t afford a divorce lawyer so this is my last straw. My husband and I are divorcing, he filed a non dispute with his lawyer, and I got an email for efiling from his lawyer saying that I’ve been served basically and I need to sign the efiling agreement in front of a notary which I did, sent it back to him.

However when I met up with my ex he handed me a 20 pages stipulation settlement asking me to sign it. I read it, it’s very dense. We don’t have any kids. No joint asset no nothing. The only thing is on the first page of the letter it says: ex name plaintiff against my name defendant .

Does that mean I have to sign this settlement? What is a stipulation settlement?
